Bi-Polar Disorder
Bipolar disorder is a mental health condition that affect a person’s mood. There are 4 different types of Bi-Polar where the individual may experience highs (mania) and lows (depression). A person with bipolar disorder has episodes of mania or depression, but never both at the same time. Sometimes these moods can alternate from one day to the next, and a person may also have periods with no symptoms.
Individuals that suffer from bipolar disorder may show signs of euphoric and extreme happiness or excitement. They may show an Increase in energy, and act impulsively. Become excessive in their Talking and/or talking very fast or very slow. Have racing thoughts and they may jump from one topic to the next without waiting for anyone to respond. They may show signs of extreme depression and have changes in their sleep pattern.
